With all due respect to you, please quote me the federal law that states you have to be informed that DirecTV or any other service provider (which is what DirecTV is) will be pulling your credit report(s)?

So, can I do that through here or do I go to Experian.com? I have a CreditCheckTotal.com subscription, could I do it through here perhaps? I don't have much experience disputing items.

I meant Equifax.com not Experian... That is where the inquiry is. I got the EQ CR from an EX site called CreditCheckTotal.com - almost confusing...

A little known act called the FCRA. I think it discusses a concept called PP. There is another concept of CYA that it vaguely addresses.
