wait 2 year to get fico score

Hello folks!

I am having problem getting my fico score from myfico website. I cannot prove my identity. I already called myfico and the representative told me I should wait for 2 years till i get my fico score. I checked my Equifax credit report and myfico did 2 soft pulls on it.  My oldest account is 9 months old right now. I tried to buy a car but was denied due no fico score. What can I do? I am going to have a hard time to get credit without a fico score.

The CSR is wrong. IMO, ignore any credit-related CSR because they are usually wrong. 

Is the 9-month old account reporting on Equifax? Is the 9-month old account open and reporting regularly? Did the car lender pull Equifax?

There are minimum scoring requirements in order to get a FICO:

·          At least one account that has been open for six months or more

·          At least one undisputed account that has been reported to the credit bureau with in the past six months

·          No indication of deceased on the credit report (Please note: if you share an account with another person this may affect you if the other account holder is reported deceased).

If the requirements aren't met, then the FICO purchase won't go through. It'll appear as a soft inquiry which won't hurt you. It won't take 2 years though.

It looks like your account is not reporting to all the CRAs.  You could contact the people for your existing credit and ask them to report to all the CRAs.  If they are not able/willing to do that then work out which CRA(s) do have your account in their records and get a CC which pull from that particular CRA but reports to all 3.

i got same  problem
