whats the difference in scores

I understand that only myfico has true fico scores and the other ones are FACO.  My question is that i have pulled my reports from mycredithealth and truecredit (which is where the TU website sent me) and my scores are higher.  What score does the banks and lending places look at?

Re: whats the difference in scores

The scores are calculated based on different formulas.

The majority of lenders(especially banks -- mortgage) will use FICO scores.

Re: whats the difference in scores

90% of all major lenders use some variation of FICO, in addition to their own internal credit policies and procedures in the extension of credit or loans.

There are various "flavors" of FICO.

Does anyone have experience with Vantage Score?  How off is it from FICO?

Re: whats the difference in scores

Vantage goes off a different scale of 501-990 vs FICO's 300-850, so your Vantage would likely be higher.
