why would a collection be on random reports?

I have a CA on my CR from creditexpert.com but not on my reports from myfico - just the OC. I want to pay it off - but was going to pay OC. why is this? So - what if someone pulls my credit and I think it's all good b/c of what is on myfico reports but they pull something different? I am so confused!!

Isn't that weird. Now I don't know what to do. Just when I see a light at the end of the tunnel....it gets dark again.

Does anyone know the answer to this? I am almost ready to just give up and pay it all off to CA's that are on my fako reports .... just to be safe. This is getting just too confusing.
