203(K) loan for not great credit
Has anyone recevied a 203(k) loan for purchase & reno for a 600 credit scrore? I was told in May my score was 640 and thought it was going up but was told yesterday my middle score is now 603. I know the requirement for this loan is 580 but am having trouble finding a lender that goes under 640.

Re: 203(K) loan for not great credit
A 620 score seems to be what most of the industry is requiring, but there are lenders still doing FHA 203(k) renovation loans down to a 580 score.
When you check your scores are you checking your mortgage scores?

Do you have to buy a home that needs fixing up (do you already have a specific home?), if not it would be an easier path/qualifying for a 203b loan that can go down to a 580 score.
