After UW disappointment ..... Closed

Finally closed 12/30/10.  Being preapproved for months, then being disappointed by undewriting because of the lates on my credit report after bankruptcy, went to another bank and they approved me......  Short sale appraisal came back for $162,000 after contracting at $165,000..  Asked the bank to reduce the price to match the appraisal price and they would not..  In order to not lose the house I agreed to pay the difference of $3,000..  Mortgage is less than what I pay for rent..

I love my house.

Re: After UW disappointment ..... Closed

Congratulations!!

We're finally closing in on our renovation for our SS. Found out that we need to replace the liner for the pool eventually to the tune of $3800.  So we have it operational, just not usable which works out bc it'll give us time to save up for the replacement.

Why they made inground pools with liners in the 80s is beyond me!
