Approval with Conditions

My wife and I were conditionally approved for our mortgage loan. My wife and I got the same exact conditions which I listed below.

  1. Please provide a copy of the deposit check/wire with banking history showing the deposit clearing
  2. Please provide a brief explanation for the following inquiries listed on your credit report, indicate if new debt was established and document current balance and payment if applicable: JPCMB CARD on 2/1/25, AMERICAN EXPRESS on 1/8/25
  3. Please provide evidence of remote employment status due to relocating from FL to TX; must indicate your employer is aware of the relocation and will have no impact on your current income.
  4. Please provide printouts of all current accounts with Affirm indicating the current balance and minimum payment due; Capital One bank statement indicates a payment for $227 and a second payment for $50.

I submitted the same documenation in both of our seprate portals as the requests are the same for both of us.  Conditions 1 , 2 and 4 have been met, however, for condtion 3, I will be working remote which I can provide documentation of with no issue. My wife will be transfering but in her portal it asked her to provide documentation of her remote status. Should I inform my lender that she is transfering instead of working remote?

Re: Approval with Conditions

They want to know if she will be making the same money. Transferring into the same company at the same take home pay should not affect the underwriters decision.

Just be honest

Re: Approval with Conditions

Those are all standard.  And yes, you'll need to let them know she is transferring + provide the employment transfer paperwork.  They are looking to confirm the effective date, the new location, and if her job title or income is changing.
