we officially applied for a mortgage loan on the 22nd and i got alert from "equifax mortgage serives" for the credit pull. Does anyone know if the score from these "service" is what equifax shows on their 3 in 1, since it also gives you a rate on your mortgage or is it still what shows on your Myfico 3 in 1? there is a big difference in my equifax score from equifax and the one i get from Myfico Mortgage score. Thank you in advance
The scores your lender pulls for mortgage approval are your mortgage scores. FICO 08 scores are not used for mortgages. Read about mortgage scores in the stickies at the top of the mortgage forum here.
I was not talking about the Fico 8, i know that doesnt correlate. i was talking about the scores u get with the 3B pull, which shows "most often used" or the "Bankcard score". all of those are different

On that FICO 3B report you will see the mortgage scores and that is what mortgage lenders use. They do not use any of the other scores for mortgage lending.
EDIT: Here is a detailed response in the sticky above http://ficoforums.myfico.com/t5/Mortgage-Loans/FICO-scores-used-for-mortgage-and-where-to-obtain-the...
someone had mentioned in previous thread that the equifax score you get from them is their Beacon 5, which is equal to their MyFico Mortgage score for Equifax. I was just asking if the Equifax mortgage services adheres to that. Thanks for your response
