It has been a little while since you posted. HELOC providers were shutting down those lines, and are opening them back up again. And time has passed since your original question. I have three suggestions if you are looking to do that HELOC now: Figure, Quorum and Navy Federal. Figure is a fin-tech kind of products. We showed our ID via camera, very easy online process and quick funding. Quorum will do HELOCs on investment properties, as will Navy Federal. Rates are in the mid 10% for Navy right now (March 2024).
All that said, I wonder whether you took action to get a HELOC back in 2023 or if you waited.
