Hi all, does anyone know which version Truist uses for a HELOC loan? Thanks!
It's probably best to contact Truist so you can hear it straight from the horses moith
While contacting them probably is the best route (but begs the question *why* you are asking if the CSR even knows), check CC approvals as a lot of the smaller lenders will just use the same score for everything.
HELOCs are all over the map though I'm certain some lenders do the full Monty tri-merge mortgage pull, but others don't.

I've read that most traditional lenders use Mortgage Fico scores even for heloc. However, Truist has recently been using Fico 9 Equifax for personal LOC and credit card. Always best to call, as their underwriting has been evolving since the merger.
Truist pulled FICO 8 scores when I applied for a HELOC in late December in Texas.
Their offered rate was on the low end of what I was offered by banks, but higher than what credit unions were offering.
I ended up getting prime+0% from a CU, Truist was at prime+1.75ish%.

@markbeiser I'm looking to apply for a Heloc with them in the near future, and am also in TX.
Did they pull all 3 bureaus?
TIA

I only had a hard pull show up on Equifax, which is my highest score, but all 3 scores were shown in the package they sent me.
Maybe HP on EQ, and SP on the other 2? I have 2 credit cards with them, so hey may have already had the EX and TU scores from the monthly SPs they do on those.
Since you are in Texas, check Amplify FCU. I got prime+0% with them.
They pull mortgage scores from all 3 bureaus, and use the middle score.

Thanks a ton!
