That's interesting! I have accounts with wells and capone, closed accounts with 5 3 and citizens this year. Glad to see amex not on the list. No credit unions either.

I've only had dealings with Citi & BoA.

Citi - Only one phone conversation regarding my Costco Visa back when I first opened it. An unremarkable call. Not bad.

BoA - Elderly mom has her savings there (where I have POA) so I grudgingly opened a savings, creating a joint account to better manage her funds. Most phone inquiries are a struggle to get answers. Always had to speak to a manager at the local branch.

AMEX, NFCU, and BECU each seem to treat me like they're repaying me for my years of loyalty.

With Capital One, I'd like to see the breakdown of actual bank account complaints vs. credit card complaints.  I'd bet the majority are credit card complaints, and of those I'd bet the majority are bucketed account complaints.  I have had Cap One for almost 3 years and have really had a great experience with them.  In my opinion, their app is by far the best out there.  And it's not even close. For the record, I have 2 cards with them as well a 360 checking and several 360 savings accounts with them.
