I got my $400 bonus for the upgrade rewards checking account. I signed up through credit karma for the elevated $400 bonus. All I had to do was get the upgrade rewards credit card and open the rewards checking account. Then I had to wait for the debit card to get here and make 3 purchases with it. I got confused at first because I thought they meant the credit card which came first. But I made the debit card purchases on Nov 5th and got the bonus paid on Nov 7th.
