Alliant Credit Union application

I am in the process of applying for Alliant CU membership and it says I will need a valid government issued ID. My ID currently expired, so I am hoping they don't ask to send a copy of it. Did anyone apply recently for this membership? Did they ask you to send them copy of ID?

Hi abundantcredit welcome! I joined Alliant CU April 3rd & opened up a savings acct. lf I remember correctly when filling out the online membership app it asks for valid gov issued ID...you'll need to input the issuing state of DL/ID, the DL/ID #, exp date & issue date...but they never asked me for a copy of my DL. I hope this helps..
