Amex App/Apple Pay Notifications for Authorized Users

Hey guys. I had a quick question. I added my mom as an authorized user to my Amex SPG card. As for me I have my cards on Apple Pay and the Amex app so whenever I make a purchase, I get a notification on my phone from each. Would I get notifications if my mom made purchases? If not, is there any way to set them to notify me? I toggled with the settings on her card to get emails and texts sent to me when she approaches a certain spending limit but there wasn't anything on getting notified whenever a purchase is made. No..Only the person who makes the purchase gets a notification.

You can set it so that you get an alert whenever a purchase over a certain amount is made, I have it set to $10 for my authorized users. I know it is set up since I just got one of the alerts a few minutes ago, but cannot find where on the website to set it, I'm sure if you call or live chat a rep will be able to point you to it.

Thanks for the suggestion. I spoke with multiple CSRs and they all told me that the authorized user would have to set up an online account, put my contact information in, and adjust it to send alerts to me. Sounds counterintuitive but I'm still certain there's a way to do it on my end. Regardless, I have it set that it'll at least alert me once a period when my mom is approaching her limit.
