Anybody else batch your due dates together?

I recently was able to get my payment dates set to be due on either the 15/16th or 28/29th of the month.

I still like to initiate payments and this makes managing up to 19 payments or so a bit easier.

I was wondering if anyone has all of their due dates set for One date?

1)  Some issuers will not move due dates.

2)  Many CU's and some banks have end of month or 1st of month as statement dates that will not move even if you move the due date.

3)  Many will not let you move due date later than 23rd or 24th, due to short month of Feb and wanting a few days to cut statement after due date.

4)  Have been able to move all due dates between the 19th and 25th, more like a due week.

Believe you will have some trouble getting all to one date

Re: Anybody else batch your due dates together?

moved all my due dates to the 15-19th as allowed by each creditor (for whatever reasons some had some days blacked out).

I still schedule all my payments to be withdrawn from my bank on the 1st of the month (makes everything easier that way).

by the time the statements cut I may have balances on a few, but don't really worry about util as I'm not credit seeking at this time.  if I need to I can AZEO the next month.

Re: Anybody else batch your due dates together?

Yes, I did discover thru my efforts that some issuers blackout the 15th as a due date option.
I think I understand why a majority of issuers blackout the 29th 30th and 31st calendar days but don't understand why the 15th.

Re: Anybody else batch your due dates together?

I do. I have car and truck payments due at the first of the month. Then utilities and insurance at the middle of the month. Finally all credit cards are due between the 18th and the 28th.

This strategy works perfect for me.

Re: Anybody else batch your due dates together?

Guilty!  These are just my Chase accounts, but all my revolvers are due on the 19th.  My three car payments with NFCU are all due on the 19th as well.

Re: Anybody else batch your due dates together?

All on the one day- Very nice @LakeLife !

I am first going see how two dates work for me before going all out on one date range.
