So I tried joining went through the process gave them the info to charge my card. They did and then they gave me a message that said sorry I don’t qualify.

I hope it can be worked out during the phone call. Wondering if the question where you need to join the necessary membership organization, NJCFE, was somehow not checked properly? Wishing you luck!

They have been nothing but fantastic and I still can't get over how fast they both clear deposits (before 4:30p, same day) and send transfers (clear next bus day) for my bank accounts. As they are located in my state about 3-5 towns from the hq of my primary credit union (22yr relationship), I've been slowly moving majority of funds as well as setting up electronic transactions with AFCU. It's quite difficult to impress me, yet they have done so in spades, during a global pandemic.

[4/25] Scores 8/9: 700-800s. Util: 1%. Inq/12: EQ 0, EX 0, TU 2. AoOA=16.8y, AoYA=6m.

Huh, that's interesting to note. How do CLIs work with them? Were they auto or do you request? I never thought to ask about that. I noticed they have a loan suite but the CCs aren't there like with DCU.

No such thing as auto CLI with them.

No such thing as soft pull CLI with them.
