has anyone used it yet ? i have not uploaded it or seen it anywhere on my phone, i guess its in the app store. Share all your experiences here ![]()
It's a great idea but there are a lot of other competing services like Google Wallet and until Apple can get more retailers to accept it then it's more hype than anything.
I have installed it and added cards...you can ONLY add eight cards (BOOOOO!!! LOL) You must have iPhone 6 or 6 plus, look in settings under general and then software updates, download it on the phone then you will see it under passbook....can't wait to try it out, do most shopping on-line so no clue when I will use it...also I noticed that cards with info on back (CSP or Citi DC) you must input info manually it will not work with the camera function........
Yes, I've used it all week. I can now go for walks without my wallet. Everything on my route accepts nfc, including the Pepsi machine. It's super easy and quick. I wouldn't call it hype.

Maybe hype was an exaggeration but there are plenty of articles out there that talk about Apple's mistake in not getting enough retailers onboard ahead of time.

I wouldn't exactly call it hype , but its not all that revolutionary as apple and the main stream media would like you to think, since you have been able to do this since 2012. Back on the main topic its very convenient but there are still not enough places that accept it . I think only CVS and Whole foods near me accept it , maybe walgreens also.

Tha was the point I was trying to make- not enough places that accept it.
Haven't noticed any places accepting it but I haven't really been out since it's been released
