After their shut downs and accidental CLD's are they still good ? are people still reccommending them?

I don't know about other folks but my experience with them was negative.

They've been nice to me and I haven't had any issues utilizing my credit card or line of credit. But I didn't ask them for huge lines/limits either. Every time I've had to speak to their customer service, it's been pleasant.
After having my Visa and LOC closed by BCU and then reopened them after I complained about it, I no longer recommend BCU as a CU to join. Even though, I am using this as a back up account and basically joined because BCU was a FOTM credit union. To be honest, you can find better credit card rates, loan rates, and deposit rates elsewhere.

The only issue I had was that they initially restricted zelle so I couldn't use it. I called in and the CSR had the restriction lifted, apparently they do this to all new accounts. Otherwise my experience has been good.
I am currently paying off a 0% balance transfer, after the 7th payment, I received a statement with $0.00 minimum due.
"TO HELP YOU WITH YOUR VACATION NEEDS, NO PAYMENT IS NECESSARY THIS MONTH. YOU JUST DON'T PAY IT."
I called to see if this was generated by mistake but the CSR confirmed that it was correct. She said some customers are given this payment holiday. Needless to say I still made my regular payment, but it was nice to be recognized.
I'm conflicted. I've had BCU since June 2023...savings and credit card. They shut down my credit card when they did everyone else's. They reinstated my card right away and I have no complaints with the way they handled the reinstatement.
However, I do not trust them. While all credit can be a crap shoot at times, BCU's impetuous actions last year left a bad taste for me, and I'd prefer not to feel as if I have the sword of Damocles hanging over my head.
I'm leaning towards saying goodbye to BCU. Today may be the day.
I've had good luck w/ them so far. Have checking, 2 savings, and just recently got a travel rewards card for the sub (and higher interest checking). also applied for a LOC since I'm under the 30 days on my CC pull and it was auto approved - all I have to do is call tomorrow to finalize the paperwork. People there seem friendly, OLB is easy to navigate, external transfers work fine. Nothing to complain about so far!
