So I recently got approved for the CB Visa for $7500 as posted. I knew reading around that they recycled the HPs and I was good to go for something else - cautiously. I decided yesterday to go for the PLoC and to do it online. Was told on here it'd be ok, while the other day that I had to do it on the phone to use the recycled HP by their chat. I opted to believe my fellow MyFicoer and try for online. Already had my reports locked, so wasn't worried there. Submitted and 24 hour review. I kept checking up until a few hours after and it didn't update, so I went to bed.
Shortly after I went to bed I got an email from them requesting me to call them, but ya know, sleeping. Fast forward a few more hours, right at their closing time, I wake up and at the same time get an alert from TU that they tried to pull my credit again. I just got off of the phone with them and she told me that anytime it's done online, it automatically opens a new application and tries a new pull. But I mean, it didn't try to HP me until like, 12 hours after, so obviously the system is a bit more intelligent than to auto HP you, because it recognized there was a recent app and it sent out the email to call in hours before as well. So not sure there, but whatever!
Anyways, I got on with a rep and told her what had happened and if it was going to be another HP and/or a headache, I'd just like to cancel it. I only went for it to try to get the most out of my HP. She asked what else I would be interested in. Kinda feel like there was more that she knew I could have been approved for had I asked, but I just left it at the PLoC. She said it'd be no problem, she just had to cancel the other one and piggy back the app for the PLoC off of the CC and it'd be ok. She told me that she saw I did it for $5000 and is that what I wanted to do? I told her yeah and she said told me ok, because that's what I was approved up for, so she'd set that up for me and it's good to go.
So got the PLoC approved for $5000 @ 12.40%. Actually on the lower end there too, which I was surprised! I only asked for $5000 because after reading around, it appeared they were approving people for 50-75% of what they got on their CC.
TU: 720ish (haven't pulled in awhile, but it's been around the same as my EX and that's where it's sitting)
UTI: 16% over all right now. Highest I've had it in almost a year and it's stressing me out! Waiting on a large payment to finally clear to pay this off.
