BECU membership DENIAL

That was a waste of $20, such a bummer. Denied for membership due to  an old account in Chex Systems from before my BK7. I guess there's some things you just can't get away from. I suppose I'll try to join BECU again in 2023 😢

Dispute the items in Chexsystems and tell Chex that they were included in your bankruptcy with $0 being owed. 
I did this against a Wells Fargo checking account and they removed it. 

I mailed a letter to Chexsystems. It was simple like this:

To: Chexsystems

From: My Name  DOB mm/dd/year  SSN 

To whom this may concern:

My chapter 7 bankruptcy case 16-12345 discharged on (date) and included my Wells Fargo checking account. Please update your records.

mine was in fact included in my BK7, I double checked my documents this morning.
