Ally Bank has this similar for a while now. I wish 360 Checking account has bucket.

It seems this would be easy enough to setup on the banks end. Wish more places had this option.

NFCU Flagship (Daily Driver) | USAA Rewards (1999 Hooptie)

AmEx BCP (Groceries) | Aven Rewards (Groceries) | Chase Prime (Amazon) | Citi Custom Cash (Dining) | Elan MCP (Utilities)

Come on, now.  As far as I know only 2 banks do this: Ally and Cap One. I mean, if every bank did it and Cap One finally added it, then your comment would work.

Re: Capital One Now Has Savings Buckets

What's the story with their savings accounts?  It seems like their standard savings rate blows away any other basic savings account. Are there any special rules with the account, such as limits of transactions per month, checking account requirements, DD?

HYSA has higher rate because vast majority of that is online without branches that would cost them to maintain the branches. Example includes Capital One, Ally, Discover (no longer accepting new bank application), SoFi and others. They they often have no fees but some may have excessive withdrawal fees if go over the limit.

They're no special rules to get HYSA. Just need to fund the account to get HYSA, that's it.

I did not realize cap one was an online bank. Please carry on with the discussion.

Re: Capital One Now Has Savings Buckets

Huh ... savings buckets struck me to mean, now you are limited like some credit cards ...

Glad it was otherwise!
