Does Chase get "annoyed" if you don't utilize an open checking account you have with them? I'm consolidating accounts and don't plan on using it any longer. I'll keep a nominal amount in the account to keep it open but won't have any deposits (or withdrawals) hitting that account.

if you're not satisfying one of these requirements, you'll eat a $12/month fee, so no they won't mind if you're paying the fee or meeting one of these requirements
for the premier plus checking account, if you qualify for these reasons to waive the fee

Don't have "Chase" but know of accounts being closed from non use.
I would push $10 dollars every 6 months and then pull it out in three days.
Leave 5-10 in account just sitting.
Call and check what they say.

Luckily I qualify for the fees to be waived.
@keekers, I opened a Chase checking (and savings) account back in December of 2022 thinking I might need it if certain things on my financial radar took place; they didn't. I never wrote a single check from that account, and finally close both accounts a few weeks ago; they never seemed bothered by the inactivity.
Chapter 13:
I categorically refuse to do AZEO!
why not close it?

I may at some point. I have a business checking account with them also that I do use and I still have a couple Chase cards on my list I want to get down the road just in case it makes any difference on an approval.
In reviewing Chase Checking Accounts (today) I found to avoid fees you need: 1) an account with a minimum Direct Deposit of $500, b) an account with $1500 average daily balance or c) an account with a minimum average daily balance of $5000 in a combination of accounts.
Point is you will be tying up some funds to just keep a token account.

I'm exempt from the fees.
