I noticed Chase got a pretty good bonus offer for doing both saving and checking account so io want to build relatiuon with them since freedom unlimited get that 5% gorcery. I tried to apply for it but was rejected. I started Allaint checking/Saving and Well Fargo checking in September and those went fine. Do i need to wait longer before starting another account?

unless you have some negative EWS information, I imagine it's just identity concerns and you have to go in branch
unfreeze your credit as well, it will be a soft pull somewhere, probably location dependent
EWS? Anyway, my experian was unlocked buyt equifax was freezed.

Early Warning System. Like chexsystem only more intrusive.
Wait for the letter first or just unlock my equifax and then just go to my local banch?

I would just unlock eq and go to a branch with id + credit card
social security card could be a nice to bring, I didn't need it but they could technically ask for it if you don't want to risk a second trip
there's also this (which you can do in branch): https://www.doctorofcredit.com/targeted-chase-900-checking-savings-bonus/
Why would i need to bring a credit card?
I had the same issue with BoA a while ago, once I realized that my reports were frozen, I unfroze reapplied and was immediately approved.
I have the same problem. I wanted to open a checking acct with Chase to get a SUB.
I have tried four times over the last 6 weeks but have given up. Each failure
indicated that a letter would explain but none have appeared.
My CRAs were thawed. I dunno and the nearest branch is over 90 miles so I ain't driving to one.
