Chase savings account with no local branches?

Is it possible to open a savings account with Chase if there aren't any local branches? I have no need to actually go into a branch but absolutley love the Chase customer service and all of their products. Has anyone had any experience with this? I tried online but it keeps telling me this service isn't available in my zip code.

Thanks

-Sin

Have you called CS to see if there is a way around the issue? I put in a zip code for an area I know Chase doesn't have any branches and received the following message:

We're unable to complete your request. This product is no longer available for the ZIP code you entered. Please click "Chase.com" to see and apply for products now available in your area.

If you can't open an account with Chase, there are other institutions which offer better interest rates. Google high yield checking/savings accounts. Good luck!

No, it is not possible.  They won't allow you to do it online.

Re: Chase savings account with no local branches?

To open my Savings Account I had to use my parents address in New York and then change my Chase profile address back a few weeks later. I live in South Carolina and surprisingly they don't have any Chase branches here.

Might be a lot easier if Chase offers mobile deposit - not sure if they do. Many of us have credit union checking and savings accounts and have no local branch nearby. In those instances, mobile deposit is a critical and helpful feature to have. Smiley Happy

Regarding actually opening the account itself, you may need to take a road trip to a branch and go in person as others have mentioned.

I'd check with Chase to confirm their regulations for account opening and requirements to have and maintain an account. Smiley Happy

They do have mobile deposits.  But for some reason, they don't allow accounts to be opened online.
