Recently turned down by CAFCU and Bethpage FCU for Chex inquiries. Nothing negative in the report, just too many inquiries for their taste.
Bethpage particularly pernicious, put in 2 inquiries, 1 for my checking and 1 for my savings.

1. It doesn't have to do with opening accounts; it has to do with inquiries.

I dont know how much research you've done into Bethpage, BUT their technology is basically non-existent.. For one, you cant add a mailing address yourself on the banking site, the second thing is they dont support eletronic payments (cant push payments to them eletronically) the last thing is if you have a checking you cant transfer to credit cards. (only way is to add them in Bill pay and push funds that way even though its internal checking or you can just request to pull funds after transactions post)
I dont know if this affects your standpoint in the future, but there ya go. 
Edit: forgot to mention, for apple pay it makes you call in to verify your card and you have to speak to fraud and fraud has to put in a request to a manager to approve the request to add your card to apple pay which can take 24-48 hours, and this isnt a one time thing, everything you get a new device, and/or add/remove the card it makes you go through this process. credit products/bethpage in general is almost impossible to use imo.
