Chexsystems questions.

Sorry I don't know if this is the right place for this or not but just a question about chexsystems a few years ago I got blacklisted on chexsystems thanks to bank of America or a 2 dollar money order yes you heard that right 2 dollars which pretty much keeps me from opening bank accounts anywhere luckily I've found an online bank called chime I use and a high yield savings account from Goldman Sachs so my question is there any bank accounts that don't use chexsystems that I could potentially get in with I like my online accounts but it would still be nice to have a physical branches thanks to anyone that can help

Re: Chexsystems questions.

They have banks with second chance bank accounts I would google those. I know of two in Texas which are Woodforest bank and bbva compass.

Re: Chexsystems questions.

Early Warning Services (EWS) is owned by Bank of America, BB&T, JPMorgan Chase, PNC, Wells Fargo and Capital One.
Not sure if those banks use it exclusively or not.

I once had a problem with chexsystems

Once I learned of it I straightened it out with the bank in question, then sent in a dispute to chexsystems and it got removed

Sure.  But bear in mind that you don't send GWLs to the CRA (EQ, TU, EX, ChexSystems, EWS, etc.),  You send them to the creditor who reported the negative information to that CRA.  If that creditor (bank, etc.) feels especially charitable to the letter writer, it can use its ability to delete that original negative info from your report.
