There aren't too many posts about this Credit Union on the board so I'm hopefull this will actually get a couple comments.
I'm in their footprint and they have a nice offer for new checking account holders. I'm also in the market for a PLOC, which they also offer. I'm wondering if anyone has experience applying for their products? Is everything manual underwritten or is it possible to get an auto approval online? If you do apply for a credit product, can you re-use the pull for another? Like apply for a PLOC and use the same pull for a credit card? Anything else I should know, inquiry / new account sensitive? Lastly, do they do any type of prequals like DCU or Penfed?

Usually when you dont see alot of posts about a certain lender , this is a great time for you to become that person who can find out all the answers to your questions/concerns. Being in their footprint gives you a leg up on those of us not who wont be able to give dps since we cant experience it Go for it and make us learn from you
Let us know if you join and what you find out!
Usually smaller credit unions with limited member eligibility aren't very popular and/or common here. Citadel does have over $4.5 billion in assets and over 230,000 members i'm seeing, it's definitely not a tiny, little rinky dink credit union. But still, it appears membership is restricted to a handful of counties around the Philadelphia area.

Alright, so I took the plunge for the good of the board. I joined by opening a checking and savings account, they pulled Chex for the open but no HP on any bureau. After I funded the acounts I gave it a couple of weeks and then applied for their Choice Mastercard which offers the lowest rate and currently has a 15 month 0% BT promo. The max limit for the card is $20k, I asked for that and was granted it like 5 minutes later. They sent an email with the limit and interest rate asking me to reply "I accept". Probably 20 minutes later I received an email stating that my card was being processed and that I could see my new card in online banking.
I replied back to the person who had emailed me asking about the PLOC and if it would be a second HP. She said, new credit product, new pull, so I was a bit nervous. She also asked about the account so I stated, truthfully, that I had a small PLOC at another CU and I was looking to consolidate with Citadel. I waited until the next morning and applied for the PLOC, again probably 10 minutes later I recieved another email from a "Loan closer" asking me to reply that I accept. They offered me the lowest rate tier but only $5k when I asked for $20k. I can appreciate it from their side, here comes a new member asking for $40k out of the gate. They matched the line I had from my other CU, so I'll give it time to age and then I'll apply for the rewards MC and a CLI on the PLOC. The first person I spoke with wasn't quite correct though, I got both products with one HP. They pulled TransUnion which had my score at 779.
So far the people I have dealt with have all been fast and friendly and I'm happy with what I got. If you're in their service area, they're worth a look.
And now I need to cool it as I just got 4 credit products in the span of 2 weeks; don't want to get any blue envelopes if you know what I mean.
what's a blue envelope?

It's a reference to a particular lender closing all of a person's accounts when they either opened too many accounts in a short span of time or asked for too many CLIs on them. Sometimes people would make large transactions the lender didn't like and they'd get closed down, too. There's a few relevant links here.

I have their rewards MC. Approved me for $2k asked for recon and granted me $5k first CU to give me a decent line. Then a week later they changed it from 9 months to 15 BT promo. They said they couldn't change it. Applied for SECU got $20k so the sock drawer this went lol 1.5 cb is not worth swiping
