Hey Gang,
Not much is written about this CU, so I'm giving my experience. It's a highly rated CU, but time will tell.
I'm interested in opening the Elan Max Cash Preferred in July. Connexus has the card, and is open to anyone. If you don't meet their regional eligibility, a $5 donation to the Connexus Association.
Many of you know I'm blind, so checking Accessibility of app and website is where I start, they were, so began the application. While site is accessible, the joining application wouldn't let me check eligibility box. A call to Connexus resulted in hold time of 2 minutes. Rep was friendly and transferred to correct department. That unfortunately resulted in dropped call, but they promptly called back... A good start.
Application took 15 minutes. Immediate approval. They do check your ChexSystems, and SP on TU for joining.
They fund by ACH from one of your other FI. Asking for routing and account number. Debit or credit was not an option.
Hope this might help others. Account setup was simple. App is basic, but functional. Member number is provided with DocuSign, not like horrible DCU setup. 😂
Forgot to add, it was a Savings account. The account requirement is $5.
Congratulations on your membership!

We all probably need another dozen to join![]()
Thanks for sharing your experience and adding DP's.
I think there was another member here asking about this CU recently.
Congrats on your new membership!
Thanks y'all! Mainly joined for CMP app in future, but I'll make this holiday savings.
Greater Nevada is my local CU that offers Elan, but awful reviews. Wasn't going down that road.
Thank you very so much for sharing your results and details! Congratulations @blindambition on your new membership!
I was just approved for DCU this morning after weighing which CU's i feel might be a good fit for needs.
This Connexus might just could fit. I still have their page up in my browser for 3 days now since their high rating is there for good reason and i been going over another potential good CU to add.

First service experience was positive. Rep passed my info onto their IT, so they can fix issue that concerns blind applicants.
She also gave her direct email and phone, should I encounter any further issues.
