DCU membership denied

Did anyone here get denied for DCU membership and can share the reason?

Was it die to a low Chexsystems score?

Did you try to reapply? What were the results? How long did you wait before reapplying?

I recently started a topic about the minimum chexsystems score for DCU https://ficoforums.myfico.com/t5/Personal-Finance/Minimum-Chexsystyms-score-for-DCU-membership/m-p/6...

If you have any information about approval or denial for a given score, I'd appreciate if you share it there.

Thanks everyone for helping!

Re: DCU membership denied

From my understanding, DCU generally denies for inquiries. Wait at least 6 months with no further inquiries before trying again. If you have derogatory banking history in your Chex file, I have no idea when they will accept you - you may have to wait for what ever it is to be removed.

Thank you. I only have inquiries. I was denied due to a low score. Do you know anyone who was denied for this reason? How many inquiries? what was their score?

I don't think most of them check their scores. Score denials and inquiry denials go hand in hand with Chex. The bulk of the information Chex uses for the scoring comes from LexisNexis so check with them too.

I will. Thank you! I didn't realize they are partnered.
