Does DCU do a hard inquiry when joining for just a savings account ?

Soft pull EQ FICO 5 inquiry. They might even offer you a Platinum CC if credit worthy on membership.

Thank you I will finish applying for the account some time tomorrow, may as well park 1k in savings with them for a while.

Thats if they will approve you. I tried and didnt get approved but they are on my list for another time once bank and credit inquiries/credit collection go off the record.

Submitted my app for a savings account, no docs requested currently but it’s in review. Is this the norm for them to take up to 2 days for the review ?

Update:

I had to send in a copy of DL and SS. Account approved now I’ll just wait on their snail mail to get access to my account.

Pretty painless actually and didn’t take as long as I had expected.

I recently moved so my address is all over the place. 

 

I wonder if they'll let me in with current credit card bills proving I live at my new spot. 

 

Really want to do the same with that thousand.
