Same here! Nearly 2 months & no hint of trouble from CapOne. They even approved me for and overdraft loc 3 days after account opening (which I've utilized in the hope that it will help me diversify my credit profile when it reports as an installment product).

will this work if you have negative info on your chexsystems and not just inquiries? I just tried to dispute some items on it:/
According to post #5 in this thread, yes.
Wow, this worked within minutes from submitting the security freeze form.
I just wanted to let everyone know that I just succesfully got a Captial One 360 account in spite of having a negative mark on my chexsystem report (without doing a freeze).
Capital One 360 does use chexsystems but it's not the only thing they use to decide to give you an account.
On my chexsystems report I have one negative mark for account abuse in the 800 dollar range. The entry is 2 years old. I have no negative information on EWS. My credit is being repaired (all scores are low to mid 600's). I do already have a Capital one credit card ($800 credit limit) and a few other small cards that I've been using to help repair my credit.
Anyway, I just wanted to let people know that it is still possible to get approved, even if you do have a bad mark on chexsystems.
I found this to be rather interesting. I applied for a Cap1 Credit card and was approved, declined for a checking account, approved for a savings account. Froze Chexsystems and was approved for a checking account but declined for overdraft protection with a line of credit. Why was I approved the second time could be a combination of having other products with Captial One and the CS Freeze.
CapOne360 is an odd duck. I have had a savings account (since closed). Have a current Auto loan and 2 credit cards but they will not approve me for a checking account. I have pulled my Chexsystems and it is clear. WEIRD.
How do you do the freeze?
I thought I was the only one who ever got declined for 360 checking, for three years I tried and all they ended up approving me for was the 360 savings, so last night after reading this thread I froze my chexsystems report and this morning I just applied. And sure enough I was approved!! so now I have the 360 checking and savings; thank you so much for letting us know about this! Woohoo
