I have been working on rebuilding my credit for a few months now and i have recently been approved for my first card which is the Capital One unsecured platinum. Its the only card i can manage to get approved for so i was curious if applying for the overdraft line of credit on my capital one 360 checking account would report to the credit bureau's and appear as a open account.
In my experience, yes.
not certain about Cap1, but both my NFCU and PenFed OLCs report monthly as an open positive account regardless of usage

I used to have a Cap One 360 overdraft line of credit and it did not report.
However the other overdraft lines of credit which I have with other institutions do report.

I also currently have the Capital One 360 overdraft line of credit and it does not report to any CRA. My Penfed overdraft line of credit does report as a revolving line of credit.
I also have a CLOC as part of my Penfed checking account and while it does report en EX, it reports as $0 bal with no CL stated. So, at least for me, it has no efect on the total amount of CLs reported or my Util.
