Any news @Traveler101 ?

Unfortunately not at the moment. My inability to get things unfrozen in a timely matter, and few other small issues has their security dept spooked. I thought I had made it beyond that, but still waiting for membership approval.

I had sent you the info privately on who the cu is. That's a hard to beat card in this environment. 0 int on purchases and transfers for 12 months and no transfer fees on an nongeo restriction cu. And a signature to boot.

If you want to give it a whirl, check it out. I've kept the cu name quiet at the moment and revealed the name to 3 who posted privately.  Good luck if you want to try. That's a great offer actually.

I will add, it's a sp for membership. They pull ex and chex for membership. Hp EX for credit products. If applying for credit, last payststub and last years w2. Hope that helps.

You are spot on with the way I'm feeling. After speaking with them today, it's another issue. I am a Jr. Not all my records designate Jr at the end of my name. My employer, though paystubs show the Jr, my workbadge does not. Now they are requesting more documents.

Honestly, my sentiment is the same. I also joined seven seventeen credit union here in ohio and branches close to where I live. At the time of membership, they said I was qualified for anything they have. No hoops to jump through. While their cards may not fit everyone, it would work for me.  I may loose a few bucks with transfer fee, but my time is far more valuable.

My feelings are if it's a headache just getting membership, I can only imagine applying for a loan product. At least in my situation.

Any updates? Do you mind publicly revealing the name of the credit union know?
