I received an email from Mountain America Credit Union today entitled "Massive boost to MyStyle Checking". I thought it was going to be a run-of-the-mill update that doesn't really do anything for me, and they also said that they'd increase the monthly fee from $4 to $7. Bleh! However, I looked a little more into detail, and this update DOES seem "Massive" enough to share!
The new benefit I'm referring to is Doctegrity. It now comes free with the MyStyle Rewards Checking account, and is 24/7 telemedicine & teletherapy for you, your spouse, and up to 6 kids, with $0 copays and no usage limits. They are able to send e-prescriptions to a pharmacy of your choice, and they also enroll you into a prescription discount program! According to their website, the Family Plan is normally $45/mo. I've just created my profile and selected my pharmacy there. The website is very smooth. They even have my neighborhood's pharmacies listed, and I live in the ocean boonies!
Seems like a VERY nice program for common issues and regular prescription needs. The number of times I've waited hours to get simple antibiotics -- man. Maybe this will end that.
If you have experience with Doctegrity or similar services, please share! It's the first time I've realized that this sort of thing even exists.

Access to the network and no fees for your sessions with its providers is a big benefit. I'm happy for you and will be asking the future husband to look into it to see if we should apply to join.
Thanks for your input!
I figure that if this works like it's supposed to, it'll pay for the checking account's maintenance fee over and over.
I've also verified with one of the neighborhood pharmacies that they take the provided drug discount card, although whether I save or lose money by using it is going to be on a case-by-case basis due to their own internal discounts? I guess I'll just trying using it, and if the price doesn't amount to much, I won't ask, whereas if they want $50 or more, I'll ask them to compare.
Just wanted to update this.
The benefits are still ongoing, and I love them despite a BIG disappointment: Doctegrity doesn't support US territories. That was a big bummer when I waited around all morning for the appointment to finalize (it didn't) because my son was sick.
Anyways, I've been using the discounts provided through the checking account. One is a restaurant we like going to (10% off coupons).
But the BIGGIE I've realized: I purchased my first movie theater tickets this month, hoping to save a couple of dollars per show, but today, I called up the theater and it turns out, they honor them for 3D as well, with no surcharge! Man, I love Regal Cinemas, especially our local one.
For Regal, these are the tickets you get, only you get them for $6 instead of the $9 that Regal publicly sells them for. No expiry, no ban on new movies, no surcharge for 3D. Just simply movies for $6 (at least at our location).

I'm using 6 tickets today (Avatar 2 in 3D), for a total savings of something like $44. Very nice, IMO!

As near as I can tell MACU is geo-fenced and SEG-fenced:

Hey SJ, as far as I can recall, I used this:
with the SEG being American Consumer Council.
(My source of confidence back then: https://www.depositaccounts.com/banks/mountain-america-cu.html#overview )
However, this was in 2018, so it might be better to double check with a rep before applying.
Curious to know as well. My healthcare costs are through the roof these days.

As I already discussed previously in one of your threads, I've personally comfirmed with MACU myself that they are indeed open to anyone regardless of your state via the American Consumer Council. And it also sounds like based on what the rep told me that they got other organizations can join as well to be eligible for MACU membership. You can reach out to them via private message on Facebook to confirm for yourself, or via the contact form on their website Email Us | MACU if you don't believe me, or think I posted a fake screenshot.
