Re: Frustrated with USAA....WTH???

I burned a number of banks in my BK7.  I am actually shocked how one year later I can have 60K in new credit lines with three 10K lines.  I thought I would be living off of a secured $500 card for at least three years.

I think that when you IIB a creditor it is a lot like breaking up in a relatonship.  Sometimes you can just stay friends, sometimes you can become friends again after a little time has passed, and sometimes you just don't ever want to see each other ever again.

But creditors are like partners.  There's a lot of fish in the sea.  You can only do what you can do.  If they don't want to make up, let it go.

You can bet your last nickel that these creditors would use every legal loophole in the world to help themselves when unexpected catastrophic events happen to them.  Anybody remember 2008?   They essentially filed bankruptcy and stuck you with the bill.

You have no reason to feel guilty about BK7 -- at least not in terms of creditors.  They would BK you in a heartbeat if it was in their best interests.  That is just rational self-interest.

And remember that nobody can make you feel inferior unless you give them permission (Eleanor Roosevelt).

Food for thought.
