That is a nice salary bump.

And I'll only behave to the extent that I avoid aggravating my arm fracture.

To be more clear, her hourly rate went up almost exactly ten percent.

...we added her to MY health insurance for less dollars than she was paying for her own insurance at her previous employer... and that is a huge part of that bump.

Today wraps up week three at her new job, and she's still loving it!

Hey, you left out the part about the $100 in free money.

Happy to hear that DH likes her new job

That free money isn't here yet!  Smiley Tongue

I'm glad that she's liking it too.   Returning to an office setting after nearly three years of working from home has certainly been an adjustment for her, but as I may have mentioned to her once or twice, there are benefits to both... and so far, she's doing wonderfully!

Normally I wouldn't much mind, but I'm upping my calcium intake over the next month or two, and milk is, for me, easier than broccoli.

Love broccoli and could do that much easier than milk. Smiley Wink

Here is a pet peeve of mine that advertisers do routinely: "Broccoli has 10 times less saturated fat than milk." I don't know why it bothers me so much, but it does. It's impossible math. I assume they mean 1/10 of, so why not say that? Ten times less? I would love to see the math formula that makes that work. Okay, rant done.

Why do I keep Simplicity, people ask? Because this is nice to see.

(I don't need any cheap money, but nice to have the option and not need.)
