Late check in for March here!
Officially moved into our new home last month with wifey and two friends. When we signed the papers and bought the house in December wife wanted to wait til most of the new furniture and other assorted stuff was delivered and furnished in the home. But we underestimated the wait times for items especially during covid. Things from sofas, tables, kitchen equipment like meat freezers, and so on; that's not even getting into getting the master bath, kitchen and maybe living room a renovation as well. Even with money waitlists are crazy. But a weird feeling finally being a homeowner. It's expensive yo and the bill after everything so far makes me cry like an otter who lost their favorite rock
For everything else tax season can go bleep itself since I finished it all earlier today even if I hired professionals to take care of some for me, wifey is done redacting for everything she sees, and I still feel urge to redact myself. Might need to ask for an increase soon here 😂
* goes off to inquire about buying an otter *
Feels nice be wanted🙂 Citi, Elan, Chase and discover are all offering me BTs. No dice, I'll just keep to my original script, 10 months away from being mortgage free, 3 months away from 40k MR points on Amex EDP SUB, 6 months away from (fingers crossed) free flight to Las Vegas 20 yr reunion😳. 15 months away from credit card app's to get back in the full swing of traveling again...looking at you CSP and United Explorer 🙃
The power is back on! (Just in time to sleep!)

Hi there, @Adkins!
Glad to see your power is back on!
Me, too! We used flashlights that had light up handles for the tiny humans, so they wouldn't go to bed in the dark. 😛 Now it's time for me to try and go to sleep, soon. 🤷
Those flashlights sound awesome... I'm glad you had them around!
Sleep well!
Whatever happened to hurricane lamps filled with kerosene? What's a little carbon monoxide?

Ha! We actually almost bought battery operated ones from Costco. 😁
