Okay, I'm going for it.

I opened a BMO Smart Advantage Checking. I need to DD $4000 within 90 days for the $400. I don't want to use my employer for the DD(s). Does anyone know which FIs I can push from to simulate a DD with BMO? This link isn't totally helpful:

I'm hoping Chase will work but I'd like to confirm, and see if there are other FIs that work.
Also, can I transfer money out before the 90 days or do I need to keep the "DDed" $4000 in there?
Thanks in advance.
you'll typically want to research the page for the bonus itself and check the comments, it seems like chase personal doesn't work, and I feel like I remember bmo being fairly strict with it requiring real dd or chase biz payroll

@ptatohed The direct deposit question is answered in the link below. Just tap or click on direct deposit.
It's getting much harder to use regular bank transfers to qualify as DD at many banks. Wise works sometimes, but sometimes they use RT instead of ACH and in that case it won't trigger as DD
I gave up on trying the fake DDs and just do DD Payroll from one of my companies and change the pay-to account as needed. Just got the $700 from SoFi for check/savings/invest, and the $250 from Amex Checking. Both were resistant to the usual transfers methods from Fidelity that I used to use.
I did bmo last year, used fidelity cma. You can smirf the money through through a third bank, use the same money multiple times to make the total dd.
I did fidelity to bmo to Capone, back to fidelity, rinse and repeat.

Andy, that's BMO's definition. That's not what I was asking.
Thanks for the feedback everyone.
I was successful with getting the USB Smartly $450 by pushing money from other FIs. The problem is, I spammed from so many different FIs, I didn'y pay attention to which actually counted as DDs. :-\ I may try that same approach with BMO though.
Does BMO pay out shortly after the $4000 is DDed or is it closer to the end of the 90 days?
Bmo waited the entire time period.
I've used fidelity because I collect a pension through them. Seems like it would look similar. I even named my cma account "annuity".
I've read some use treasury direct
https://www.treasurydirect.gov/log-in/
Haven't tried it, but the deal is, you buy a 4 week bill, putting the target account in as the pay to. In four weeks, the treasury dd's your money, plus interest, into the account. Looks like any other gov payment.

Thanks ASC. I think that is the link I posted in Post #1. I just found it a little confusing. Under "what works", I see a bunch "didn't work".
