You can search the forums for CLOC you'll see a lot of different data points and all.

@FAMUGrad2001 .. This should give you some info.
ETA:
One data point I will give you, if you are directly in the Military,
under writing is more lenient, compared to just related to a Family member.
Also just to clarify, the pull EQ for The CLOC.

+1 as I've been told something similar by them.

They're easier on military because it's easier to dock pay and hold someone responsible if they don't fulfill their obligation versus a civilian.

Makes sense! I thought after I was told it that it was more of a honor/duty type of thing - showing appreciation to those that serve(d). Didn't think of that.

Lol. It's nice to think that but the reality is if you don't pay, they simply go to your command to have a garnishment set up. The process isn't that much easier, and honestly, the military isn't supposed to do it because it's a civil process, but if you burn someone like the Navy Exchange, Navy Fed, or bounce checks at the commissary, it can be fasttracked. If you get sent to Captain's mast (Navy) over it, you can lose your security clearance or administratively separated over it. But, you would have to have a history of not paying your bills

Not what I was told by Senior in UW. Plus it does not make sense why they would give a civilian high limits on a credit card without blinking.
I was told, that if a person could not make a deposit while on active duty, they would have a sufficient CLOC so that checks would not bounce.
This info comes from a long time NFCU UW ... not some newbie front line CSR.
