I just have a $500 limit and it's pretty low but I can't see any way to ask for an increase on the website so I was curious if they even offer them. I know they used to give like $15K to everyone but I missed that boat.
I believe now a days, its 3k max for CLOC or 5k if you're active duty. I would call them.
You and call customer service to request a Cloc increase. If I remember the increase would be $3000- $5000
Thanks. I submitted the application over the phone and I'm waiting for a reply. They wouldn't let me use household income so this one could go either way as my income is much lower than my partner's.
They didn't but my partner isn't a member so that could be why. I've tried to get him to join but he's not interested in having another account to manage and he's been with Wells Fargo his entire adult life so he won't leave them either.
This is a situation where it's better to ask forgiveness than permission. Just go ahead and use household income. If they catch you, it's "I didn't know.. . I'm sorry about the whole thing"

Unfortunately I didn't have the monthly math for HHI available as I'm always asked about annual income.
I was denied. I plan to appeal it when I get my letter and ask them to just bump it to $1000. I have appealed denials before and been approved after giving my reasoning so hopefully that works again.
Does anyone know if the higher CLOC max applies to veterans as well as active duty?

The higher limit applies to active duty ONLY. Non-active duty members who have higher limits (i.e. 15k) that were acquired prior to the CLOC limit restrictions continue to retain their current limits.
