Initially recieved a message that funds would be available after 2 business days but the following day they changed it to 5 business days which puts me past my credit card statement end date and I need to pay the card off to keep my score up.
Any help would be appreciated.
Not sure there is a lot that you can do here, most banks / CUs seem to operate on a zero trust basis with check deposits.
I've never figured out the logic behind the delays in releasing funds, it seems arbitrary most of the time.
Unless your credit card is already past due, paying a few days past the due date won't affect your credit score. It would have to be 30+ days late in order for them to report it.

The check is a balance transfer convience check from another credit untion and the funds have already been deducted from that account. I sent a screenshot of this but they are telling me that there's not much that can be done. A rep I spoke with yesterday said it was possible and rep today is saying it's not.
They have to be able to see that the funds have cleared, any ideas on how to get them to remove the hold? Typically in the past a banker would be able to call the issuing bank and verify the funds but since this was a mobile deposit not sure how that would work.
If it's not removed not only are they hurting my score but they are also charging me for extra interest because I can't use the funds to pay off the card. I've asked if they could just transfer the funds to the card but still waiting for a response.
Any help would be appreciated.
Many institutions treat those type of balance transfer checks differently than regular checks, hence the automatic 2-day notice being countermanded by a 5-day notice once the check type was ascertained. I'm sure this policy was fixed at a very high level and was based on 'back office' antifraud algorithms and the like, and so I would not hold out hope for getting them to waive it. But I wish you luck in getting it reversed.

Excellent advice up-thread, I'll just add that mobile deposits aren't covered by the funds availability section of Regulation CC.
Put another way, if you deposit a check by using your phone your bank/CU has quite a bit of leeway on when they must by law make funds available, regardless of the check type.
Note, deposits made at a bank (proprietary) ATM are covered by Regulation CC, so if time is of the essence this option is just as good as seeing a human teller.
