Good question. I will google around, but it is also a question for them directly. But good to have their answer, plus the answer from someone on here.

That 10% will really help you pay down for sure though.

Re: Ideas for getting APR reductions

Alright, I'm set up for 6 months at the 10%. I'm having $200 auto debited per month and he said I can log in and pay extra if I have it. He said as far as credit bureaus it will show I'm on the program, but payments and all will show on time like previous. Now I have to find the extra $94 I agreed to in my budget. The debit starts Saturday and I only budgeted $106.

Re: Ideas for getting APR reductions

Nice work. You will find it. TV / Streaming programs/ cellular costs. Look everywhere for savings. In the big scheme of things it will be short term pain for long term gain

And one thing I always recommend since most people think paying anything less than $50 to a loan or CC is a waste of time, it ISN’T

It all adds up.

Example I go in after a loan payment and make a small payment < $20 sometimes to ‘zero’ it out.
I go make a payment in a CC that zeroes out the change. Ie. $7.26 payment

It ALL adds up.

Re: Ideas for getting APR reductions

Thank you for this. I went ahead into all hubbys' autopay's and added a few dollars to each one. As you said it all adds up. Here's to hoping debt freedom is on the horizon for my family.
