I just received notification that my personal checking and savings accounts with CapOne 360 were closed for the reason that:
We have observed activity on your account that is not consistent with our expectations of usage for commercial or small business purposes.
Duh. Could that be because the accounts were personal accounts, not commercial or small business accounts?
I called up, got a guy who talked like an automaton.
I asked to speak to his supervisor and got another automaton.
Neither would give me a straight answer.
I emailed the Executive Office.
Seems like Capital One is going downhill fast.
Did you pay for a gift card of any size on that card or any other Cap1 cards?
Whoa! I don't use them often. Thinking that could happen to me, too! What is your CL with them? I have one card, QS with a 23k CL.

I'm sorry ABCD, I was less than clear in my initial post. The closed accounts were a savings and a checking account. And there was nothing irregular about them. Except that I didn't use them a whole lot.

Sorry Musiclover, I neglected to mention that they were a savings account and a checking account, not credit card accounts. They were the oldest accounts I had, going way back to ING Bank.

Oh, okay. Thanks for the clarification, SJ!
