Does anyone have an information on Launch CU based in Florida? Anyone join that lives out of their geographical area? I can't find anything on them. Has anyone been approved for a credit card or loan with them?
Just curious because this looks like a neat CU.

It appears to be very geo-fenced:
Those who live, work, worship or attend school in the counties we serve (Brevard, Volusia, Orange, Seminole, Flagler, Osceola County, Indian River, Lake, and Polk County)
Immediate Family Member of an existing member.

There must be a Brevard co. church who's service you can watch streaming. Wouldn't that qualify as worship?
Apparently, I live in the geofenced service area. The nearest branches are nearly an hour away by car. I looked through the product offerings on the website, but I don't see anything worth the drive. <shrug>
I agree they don't appear to offer anything special. Of course, I'm really only impressed by subs!
I passed by a branch when I was in Florida for business and it caught my attention. I saw that they Go Beyond Foundation that could be used as a way to join the CU. I am curious if it would work and curious if anyone has can experience from being a member of Launch CU.
I may call them this week.

Let us know how it turns out.
I saw some offerings that looked good, including a low interest platinum card with no balance transfer fees or cash advance fees.

I live right down the street from one. Their offerings are rather weak so I never opened a membership. I do, however, use the branch as a shared location for my Affinity FCU account.
Oddly, my other local CU that's about 35 minutes away (Addition Financial) and has decent products, also uses Launch as a shared location.. but charge $10 per transaction.
So, I just end up using Affinity because of the free shared branching at Launch down the street from me.

What is special about this CU?
