NCFU- finally in!!!

I'd like to first thank those before me that posted on how to get in NFCU (💯legitimately). Because of your willingness to share your knowledge, my husband and I are NFCU members!!! After hearing about this for nearly a month, I diligently called NFCU speaking with multiple levels of supervision, fraud dept, etc. Once verified, I took the plunge, applied, and our membership was accepted! 

I was tempted to apply for credit & lending products, but decided to stay in the garden. Right before entering the garden, I was approved for a $5K credit card at my local credit union. So that'll do until after closing next year.

We're just soooooo elated that we're finally in NFCU as we plan to possibly use them for our mortgage loan next year.

Congrats!! I just applied via fax 2 days ago and waiting to hear! Thats exciting!

Be sure to follow up with them tomorrow. Have you gotten an email saying they're processing your application? They sent an email that it'll take up to 2 days to process my application and open the acct- so on the 3rd day I followed up with a phone call and they opened the acct in 5 mins!

How long after you emailed you application did you get an email from them stating they were processing?

Nope no email yet but to be fair it was a holiday weekend so Im hoping to hear something by tomorrow. I faxed it in.

Immediately after emailing them I got a standard 'up to 2 days message'. But somehow the application must've gotten lost in the shuffle maybe. But once I called in to follow up, they immediately processed it and the acct was open and funded within 5 mins.
