NFCU ClOC
My second win in a month from NFCU. Applied for Checking Line of Credit over the weekend. Sunday morning around 5:45am. So I received and email stating that I needed to call In for further information on application. Spoke with service agent he advised that I had applied for the max $15000. Underwriting counter for $3000. So I agreed to the $3000 offer. So in about 9 months I went from a being negative $700 on a old checking account with them, paying it off. Then getting $1100 Amex, $15000 Flagship VISA ,now $3000 checking line of credit amazing bank. Side note I have been a member since 2012. But I went back to using NFCU this year. Also having at least $1000 in your account may help. FICO was 654 via NFCU monitoring.

Re: NFCU ClOC
No I applied though the app. It was kind hard to navigate to it. Once I applied I received an email stating that they where going to call for more information. But I just went ahead and called them first.

Re: NFCU ClOC
I must be either dense or not eligible, I don't see anything in the app even resembling a CLOC product. How did you find it and apply with the app?

Re: NFCU ClOC
Ok forget the app lol. You have to go to the "Open a New Account" tab on the desktop version of the website. Then you we see cloc option add all the products NFCU offers. I just remembered that it took me a while to find it. But it's on the desktop site.

Re: NFCU ClOC
Are you currently in the military? Because I've seen a post on here saying only active members of NFCU are getting more than $500 when being approved for CLOC lately I see you got $3000 so that's why I'm asking because I want to apply for the CLOC but not willing to waste a hp for only a $500 cl.

Re: NFCU ClOC
Hey I'm not in the military. Im a Firefighter in NC.A family member who is a DOD contacter got me in around 2012. So I had actually stop using my account for about 4yrs. I got the Amex $1100 approved in February. Then paid off a negative balance with them around June. App for the Visa $15000 approved in Sept. Then a waited about a mouth and App for the CLOC $3000 in Oct. I have about $1250 just setting in a savings with them. I direct deposit $150 into savings that I use to paid for the credit cards. I really used the Amex a lot over the 6 months always making multiple payment a month on it. But just a word of advice I would app at night after 11:00 pm , between maybe 6:00am . I have done this with all three products and it worked for me. I still have some negatives on my credit file . So Navy is awesome for letting me rebuild with them . But I was a 654 Fico when I app for the Cloc. Also I asked for $15000 but was countered for $3000 so I took it. Hope this helps!!
