Not sure if this is the correct forum to post this, hopefully it is!
Has anyone enrolled in that yet? I inquired about it while I was on the phone with a CSR and they conferenced the system to do it. Figured it'd be like a word/phrase you chose, like your secret/code word. Nope! It's a phrase that I almost forgot what the automated system told me to say. CSR even said afterwards "OMG that's a long phrase that needs changed!". For reference, it's "At Navy Federal Credit Union, my voice is my password. Please verify me!"
As I was posting this, I decided to call in and make sure it was accomplishing what I wanted - avoiding entering my last 4 of my social then last 6 of a card. It recognized the number and asked me to repeat the phrase. I ended up saying "At Navy Federal Union...err crap ", because I realized I messed up and was expecting it to ask me to repeat it. However it did not. It let me advance off of that and approved my voice from that.
Oh wow! I've been seeing the voice ID feature when I log on the app. Was curious about it. Thank you for posting this. I may check it out but I may have to write down the phrase just in case it is required to be said accurately. 😂🤣😂

Heh, that's why I included it in the post.
Forgot to mention that you have to repeat it 3 times to set it up, but the robo lady tells you the phrase before hand each time. But still...
Your voice sounds eerily like mine Errrrr.....
I have been leery about this on my account because there was a prior post from someone who alleged that their accounts got shut down (locked up) because, based on Voice ID, NFCU believed that he was impersonating his father. They allegedly were requiring him to go into a local NFCU branch to clear up the problem, but, like a lot of us, the nearest branch was over 1000 miles away. I can't find that post now to see what the resolution was.

LOL!
I kinda wanna toy with it some more and see just how much you can get away with saying and not saying for it to validate you. However I'm a bit worried that if it fails, it may cause some lockdown procedure that'd be a pain in the rear and require a trip to a blood bank to verify I'm me to get it removed.

Wow! Posted as I was writing up my "worry" post. Definitely not gonna fiddle with it now!
We only had 1 relatively near us for the longest time and wanna say it was the only one in the state and opened after I heard about them. Fast forward 2 years and now they're starting to pop up on every corner.

Poster resolved it and now has access again. I think his case was an anomaly snd most of us should be ok....hopefully.
