NFCU ach help

Just got in to Nfcu Monday and have set up my checking and saving share. I am able to transfer between checking and share. Set up outside bank checking acct in Nfcu but unable to transfer/ach outside bank from Nfcu option not available. Set up Nfcu acct with outside bank but it has $3 fee per transaction to Nfcu.

What are workaround to get funds to Nfcu from outside bank. Penfed share I can transfer money back in forth without any fee. Since I'm a new member are there any restrictions for me?? With 3 decade and all direct deposit with other bank changing not an option.

Tanks for any help or suggestions.

use pull option instead of push because some banks or CU are charging fee for pushing out money from theirs

Re: NFCU ach help

I tried both. Pull option from Nfcu is not available. The push option from boa charges $3 a pop. I know other ppl are able to change funds without fee, I'm hoping it's just waiting for x months to take in effect. Penfed I can pull from boa to Penfed for free.

Re: NFCU ach help

I push from chase for free.  No need to pull with NFCU.

WOOHOOO!! Found the solution, Nfcu lets me use eMobile deposit 30 days after enlisting I mean being a member. Take a pic of my deposit check to Nfcu , get verified and boom it's deposited. No ach push or pull required. New tech baaby!!

We use the Square Cash app to move money between accounts instantly.  You can't send money to yourself, but you can have 2 square cash logins!  The transfer is instant and free.  Just don't let your college age children learn how easy it is to put money in their accounts!
