My membership was approved, emailed it before 6am and by 2pm got the email saying i was approved!
Whats the password to sign into your account on the website? I was able to look my access number up, but when I try to enroll for online banking it says "Our systems indicate that you are currently enrolled in Online Account Access. You may Log On or use the Forgot Password and/or the Retrieve User Name."
And when I click forgot password it and enter my info it says "Our records indicate that a security question and answer were not provided for your account. Please try again."
Edit:Heads up, I called and was asked a series of identity questions. The temporary password is the last 4 digits of your access number then the last 4 digits of your social secuirty number. Then it will ask you to choose a new password when you sign in. The person I spoke with ont he phone was incredibly nice, gave me a fantastic first impression. Get your access number here after your membership is approved https://my.navyfederal.org/NFOAA_Auth/mktfindmyaccessnumber.xhtml
@olivegirl wrote:If Navy league was not legit, everyone would be stopped at the door. the in-person NFCU Rep would have advised right then and there. No one is committing fraud or stealing anything and besides, the person in you post was asking for people to post their membership number. Sounds as it they are trying to commit fraud. You do need something besides the NLM, you need to have positive credit and decent scores.
Thanks to GuyAtTheBeach for the detailed decription of the application process at the branch:
" I showed her the email, pointed to where it indicated I joined the SD chapter of the Navy League. She had to call their help desk to get the right override code and made a bunch of detailed notes in the initial process of the application."
Text in bold is all everyone need to know that it's 100% known and legitimate.

When I saw this yesterday I almost hit the ceiling with excitement. Immediately printed out the app, wrote it up, copied my DL and SS card, attached a bank statement and my welcome information from the San Diego Navy League Chapter. Just emailed my app. at 9 am this morning and got the;

Wow that was fast, many thank FICO family!
Another thing... how do I fund the account, the $5?
Joined the Navy League San Diego Council on 6/5. Sent membership application by fax on 6/6 along with the Navy Legue SD coucil membership reciept. I called the NFCU next day to confirm my membership application. They couldn't find it, and I was told to call back tomorrow. The following day, I called again. My application was not found. I called today, my application wasn't found still. After 5 - 10 min I hang up, I got a notification from the Credit Sesame & Credit Karma, I have an inquiry on my report. Logged into Credit Sesame, Navy pulled. About an 1.5 hr later from the credit pull:
"
