Pretty sure cow is the exception to the rule here. More cow is always good
I feel seen!
Great article indeed. Thanks for sharing.
I thought getting that third goat for @Remedios was a good deal, in the end she would've been happy with one 😉
@Elizabeth_FICO, Great article. Thank you for sharing .. Have A Happy Thanksgiving!
I agree with this others this is a really great article and tackles areas where I know I have fallen for the marketing and made purchases that maybe I should not have made. I agree with the "Spave with purpose" sentiment. The Amazon "one left in stock" message has gotten me more times than I care to admit when deciding if I should buy.
Also as someone who used to be a semi-regular at the outlet malls I know about how we trick our brain into thinking we are getting a good deal. I have literally thousands of dollars of shirts hanging up in my closet from years of poor spending habits. It got so bad and I decided to not buy any clothes in 2020 (with one exception of my wife buying me a T-Shirt where proceeds went to support the postal workers relief fund I have stayed true to this).
As a regular Costco shopper, I have to be careful because it is easy to get fooled. It is also easy to use products faster because we have them available.
My 2020 goal was to just be more aware of my spending as we knew we wanted to save for a house, while cancellation of several trips certainly helped pad our savings account the awareness we have developed is going to go a long way. Awareness is certainly key. At least now I can put a name to the behavior.
